REHIS Online Intermediate Food Hygiene
This course is designed to provide the legislative compliance for food handlers with supervisory and management responsibilities, building on existing awareness of food hygiene issues. The pack includes access to the online course, the intermediate Food Hygiene Handbook and a Question of Food Hygiene for Scotland Intermediate workbook. Applicants work their way through the 12 modules. Areas of study include:
- Food poisoning
- Cross contamination
- Personal hygiene
- Food storage
- Food safety
- Food controls
Candidates must have Internet Explorer 8 or above with the latest Flash Player installed. Mac users must also have the latest Flash Player installed on their browser to allow them to use the system. Course fees are £250.
Method of Assessment
The REHIS written exam is made available upon completion of the 12 online modules. The examination duration is 2.5 hours and will take place within the College.
Successful candidates can go on to complete the REHIS Advanced Diploma.
