PDA in Hospitality

Course Content

The PDA in Hospitality at SCQF level 7 supports continuing professional development for individuals who hold, or aspire to hold, team-leading or supervisory roles within the hospitality industry. The PDA covers areas such as hospitality supervision which helps to develop the knowledge and skills required to train and lead people to deliver a hospitality service.

Entry Requirements

Applicants must be in employment and be aspiring to become supervisors or a management position within the hospitality industry. 

Method of Assessment

Ongoing course assessment will apply through observation, training plan and open & closed book assessments. Assessment will allow candidates to enhance their own practice.

Future Prospects

Applicants would have the opportunity of progressing to PDA in Hospitality Management (Level 8).
