OFTEC Oil Training
Course ContentThe OFTEC assessment scheme covers a range of installation and maintenance activities within the domestic and commercial oil industry. The following assessments are available:
OFT 10-101 Domestic/light commercial commissioning and servicing of pressure jet appliances.
OFT 10-105E Domestic oil firing system installation and energy conservation measures in buildings.
OFT 10-600A domestic and non-domestic oil storage and supply installation assessments normally consist of a combination of practical and theory examinations.
On completion, BPEC Certification Ltd will upload the assessment result to OFTEC.
Entry RequirementsFor the initial OFTEC assessments, candidates must satisfy the entry requirements defined by the OFTEC Assessment Scheme Rules (Category 1, 2 and 3). Candidates wishing to take re-assessment must have held the assessment element previously - if this element has expired within 12 months of the assessment date, it will be necessary to take the initial assessment.
Please note that the certificate you receive from the certification body does not mean that you are registered with OFTEC and it does not allow you to self-certificate your work under the competent person scheme. It does allow you to apply to OFTEC for registration.Two days of training & two days of assessment:
