NPA Palliative and End of Life Care
Course Content
This programme of study offers the opportunity to equip individuals with the range of knowledge, skills and values required to provide high quality palliative and end of life care. The award will equip you with theoretical knowledge and understanding, relating to holistic, multidisciplinary, evidence-based approaches to caring for an individual receiving palliative care and end of life care.
Entry Requirements
NQ course or relevant units in English or communication at SCQF level 5; Standard Grade or National course or units in Social and Vocational Studies at SCQF level 5; work experience in Health and Social Care. All applicants will be considered individually.
Method of Assessment
Written accounts, Individual/group presentations and Investigative reports.
Future Prospects
Learners may be able to progress to HNC Healthcare Practice or HNC Social Services.
