NPA Administration Office Skills and Services
The National Progression Award (NPA) in Administration: Office Skills and Services at SCQF level 5 is designed as a programme which will provide candidates with theoretical knowledge and also allow them to have hands on experience of key pieces of office equipment, develop communication skills with internal and external customers and improve skills in locating, retrieving and presenting required information.
Applicants must demonstrate a genuine enthusiasm for administration. Good reading, writing and communication skills are desirable. Mature applicants will be assessed on an individual basis and may be required to undertake an exercise.
Method of Assessment
A mixture of SQA and college based units. There will be no end of course test but continual assessment throughout the year.
Successful candidates may progress on to a full-time programme within the Administration area or gain employment in the Administration sector.
