Course Content

This course covers many different topics including percentages, ratios, probability, area & volume, elementary algebra and trigonometry. 


Comprises four units, each with an internal assessment at the end.

Entry Requirements

Entry to the course may be subject to the successful completion of a diagnostic test.

Method of Assessment

There are 4 assessments during the year, in which learners would be required to attend college.

Future Prospects

This level of maths is desirable for many different career paths, including some areas of engineering and social sciences. It can also be used as a potential progression path onto National 5 Mathematics.
