Course Content

This course introduces the basics of Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL), also known as Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL). Taught by highly experienced and qualified trainers, this is an enjoyable and interactive taster course focusing on language analysis, teaching methodology and lesson planning. You will acquire a toolkit of ideas and greater confidence in your ability to either start teaching or to apply for a further teaching qualification.

Entry Requirements

Applicants should have an interest in learning how to teach English as a Foreign Language but no previous experience is required. Non-native English speakers require a level of English at Upper-Intermediate / B2 or above.

Method of Assessment

Continuous assessment.

Future Prospects

Progression to further teacher training. The certificate may be accepted by some schools as an initial teaching qualification. Guaranteed interview for our CELTA or PDA Introduction to Tutoring ESOL courses.
