Diploma in Creative and Digital Media
Course Content
This work-based qualification is industry-recognised and will allow you to develop the skills required to become a professional in a creative environment. The course includes areas such as production, radio, social media/marketing communications, graphic design and video journalism. You will learn to present ideas and information to others, work effectively with others, develop your own professional practice, and work with digital media. The diploma also helps employers to develop their workforce by training new staff, and up-skilling existing employees. This qualification can be tailored to suit a range of job roles and you and your employer can choose the topics you want to learn that fit around your job role.
Entry Requirements
Discussed with employer or Course Leader. Consideration will also be given on an individual basis to those with relevant experience. Entry to this course is at any point during the year.
Method of Assessment
The candidates are assessed in the workplace. Skills classes are available at D&A College, attendance at college is optional and can be discussed.
Future Prospects
Progression to HN courses in Computing and Creative Media, possible progression to senior roles. Also opportunity for progression to a Graduate Apprenticeship.
