HNC Contemporary Dance Performance
This intensive training course aims to develop your technical and creative skills to equip you to apply these skills in a variety of performance and choreographic projects.
There will be opportunities to collaborate with others and to perform in our purpose-built theatre, The Space. You will engage in an exciting NHS schools tour that develops skills in creating, performing and teaching. There are numerous master classes taught by professional dancers/teachers/choreographers that offer exciting and vibrant learning that links to industry
Entry requirements include a NC, Higher Dance or equivalent. Learners are selected through a practical audition and interview.
Method of Assessment
A combination of practical class work, performance and written assignments.
Learners may go onto to further study within the department to HND (level 8) or to other colleges and universities.
