Course Content

Cyber Security is an ongoing key concern globally in terms of protecting business systems and data from cyber threats and attacks. The HND Cyber Security course continues from the HNC Cyber Security course and will provide you with the opportunity to broaden your skills in Cyber Security related disciplines helping prepare you for progression on to University or related work within the industry. You will gain further expertise in areas related to Cyber Resilience, Digital Forensics, System Security and Monitoring, and Network Security and Monitoring. We have strong links to industry providing you with opportunities throughout your studies. This is a full-time course delivered on campus which includes classes, practical tutorials, project work and self-study sessions.

Entry Requirements

To gain entry to HND Cyber Security, you will need to have completed an HNC in Cyber Security and achieved 15 SQA credits.

Method of Assessment

Internal unit assessments are continuous throughout the course with a final project at the end of the year. 

Future Prospects

On course completion, applicants can progress to university. This course also provides excellent prospects for a career in the Cyber Security or Technology Sectors.
