HND Animal Care
This course explores a wider range of topics including: ecology; micro-biology; parasitology; and ethics. There is also a work placement element.
Prior completion of 15 HNC Animal Care credits. Acceptance will be based on performance and commitment on the HNC programme. Satisfactory references will be required.
Method of Assessment
This course is a mixture of written assessments, practical assessments, reports and an extensive project.
Self-employment, animal care assistants in veterinary practices, degree programmes e.g. veterinary nursing, animal care, welfare and zoology. Students should also check requirements of individual universities.
