HNC Engineering Systems
Course Content
This multidisciplinary engineering course covers: Communications; Maths; Electrical/Mechanical Principles and Applications; Computer Aided Draughting; Pneumatics and Hydraulics; and Renewable and Energy related subjects with specific content applicable to today's technology utilised in the new and emerging sectors.
Entry Requirements
Qualifications required are two Highers (or equivalent) at grade C or above in either English, Mathematics or Physics, relevant NC/NQ course in an engineering discipline, Foundation Apprenticeship in Engineering. Other qualifications will be considered on an individual basis. Qualifications equivalent to above from an international educational body.
Method of Assessment
Submission of written reports, ongoing course assessment and a graded unit project.
Future Prospects
Progression onto a higher-level engineering specific course and/or employment opportunities in the engineering/renewable/energy industries with the opportunity to study part-time up to degree level.
