Course Content
Digital design is a form of visual communication which is an essential element of modern marketing and communication. The HNC Digital Design and Web Development Course will give you the knowledge and skills required to design and develop interactive and digital media products. It will provide you with an up-to-date qualification within an ever-changing and in-demand industry. You will develop a wide range of transferable skills in several key areas including: web design and development, digital design, 2D animation, database design and development, audio/video production and programming. This is a full-time course delivered on campus which includes classes, practical tutorials, project work and self-study sessions.
Entry Requirements
Four National 5 qualifications at A or B and 1 Higher in a STEM subject (C or above).

Foundation Apprenticeship in Creative and Digital Media or IT Software Development.
or
Progression from SCQF Level 5/6 Computing college course passing all credits and B grade achieved in Project.
or
Mature applicants with relevant experience are assessed individually for suitability.
Completion of a strong personal statement explaining your interest in the course. You may be invited for an interview to make sure this is the right course for you. All applicants may also be asked to provide a reference.
Method of Assessment
Internal unit assessments are continuous throughout the course with a final exam at the end of the year.
