HNC Computing with Network Technology
This course will provide you with advanced knowledge for a successful career in networking technology. It provides a comprehensive range of knowledge and practical skills in configuring, designing, building, and maintaining the computer network infrastructure. This course will allow you to study for up-to-date vendor-specific certifications in the skills that are in demand for many different types of careers in Networking and Network Infrastructure. This is a full-time course delivered on campus which includes classes, practical tutorials, project work and self-study sessions.
Four National 5 qualifications at A or B and 1 Higher in a STEM subject (C or above).
Foundation Apprenticeship in IT Software Development.
Progression from SCQF Level 5/6 Computing college course passing all credits and B grade achieved in Computing Project.
Mature applicants with relevant experience are assessed individually for suitability.
Completion of a strong personal statement explaining your interest in the course. You may be invited for an interview to make sure this is the right course for you. All applicants may also be asked to provide a reference.
Method of Assessment
Continuous assessment including networking practicals, written reports, and an end of year graded project.
