HNC Acting and Performance
This hugely popular practical and engaging course aims to develop professional skills in acting, devising and theatre making. The course includes Units in: Acting; Acting for Camera; Voice; Movement; Creating Devised Theatre and Shakespeare. You will have the opportunity to perform a full-length text based production. Alongside this, you will participate in a unique devised ensemble piece, creating work in a collaborative and supportive environment. Additional opportunities through the year include: theatre trips and collaborative projects across the performing arts, as well as visits from industry professionals.
NC Acting and Theatre Performance or equivalent qualification would be advantageous but not essential, as would passes in 2 Highers including English and Drama. Selection is through participation in a group workshop and the performance of two monologues (one devised and one from text).
