Modern Apprenticeship in IT and Telecommunications Level 3
Course Content
This work-based course allows individuals to gain an industry-recognised qualification and develop the skills required to become a professional in an IT environment. This can cover a wide range of areas such as software development, networking, cyber security, games development, web development and IT Tech support and can be tailored to suit a range of job roles. It can also help employers develop their workforce by training new staff, and upskilling existing employees by learning on the job.
Entry Requirements
Discussed with employer or Course Leader. Consideration will also be given on an individual basis to those with relevant experience. Entry to this course is at any point during the year.
Method of Assessment
The candidates are assessed in the workplace. Skills classes are available at Gardyne Campus. Attendance at college is optional and can be discussed.
Future Prospects
Progression to HN courses in Computing and Creative Media, possible progression to senior roles. Also opportunity for progression to a Graduate Apprenticeship.
