Fast Track For A Career in Care
This course gives learners the opportunity to experience a variety of subjects in health and social care including: health and well-being, social influences, human development and behaviour, values and principles in care in addition to communication, numeracy and information technology skills. This course is designed to develop academic skills, allowing applicants to progress to further study.
There are no formal entry requirements however applicants should demonstrate a genuine interest in a career in care. Core Skills (Maths and English) at level 4 is desirable. Selection will be made on satisfactory personal statement and diagnostic exercise.
Method of Assessment
Assessments include project-based work with end-of-unit assessments and open-book investigations.
Progression to other health and social care courses may be possible on successful completion of the course.
