Motor Vehicle Engineering Entry Level
Course Content
This course covers subjects such as: vehicle mechanical; engine systems; electrical; chassis system (steering, suspension and brakes); vehicle servicing and valeting. There will also be project work including EV/Hybrid vehicle awareness. You will gain hands-on experience in maintenance and repair in well-equipped classrooms and workshops. Learners will have the opportunity to undertake a work experience placement.
Entry Requirements
There are no formal entry requirements, however all applicants will go through a selection process. Progressing students: applications will be based on previous course outcomes and personal statement.
Method of Assessment
Online exams and practical observations.
Future Prospects
Progression onto Motor Vehicle Engineering Level 2 or employment opportunities. Modern Apprenticeships are also available if the learner can secure employment with an appropriate employer.
