Motor Vehicle Engineering Entry Level
This course covers subjects such as: vehicle mechanical; engine systems; electrical; chassis system (steering, suspension and brakes); vehicle servicing; and valeting. Hands-on experience in maintenance and repair in well-equipped classrooms and workshops. Learners will also undertake a work experience placement.
There are no formal entry requirements, however applicants will be required to attend an interview and undertake an exercise demonstrating written and practical skills.
Method of Assessment
Online exams and practical observations.
Progression onto Motor Vehicle Engineering Level 2 or employment opportunities. Modern Apprenticeships are also available if the learner can secure employment with an appropriate employer.
