Marketing Practice: An Introduction

Course Content

This unit explores the major decisions of an organisation with a regard to product, pricing, place and external marketing communications. 

All four elements are addressed theoretically, and contemporary case studies such as Facebook, Google or WhatsApp can be used to show how these theories work in practice.  

Entry Requirements

No formal entry requirements however it is expected that applicants work or would wish to work in a related industry sector. 

Method of Assessment

Online workshops with tutor support and self-study resources.

Future Prospects

Candidates can progress on to study marketing at SCQF 8 or above.
