ESOL Literacies for English Language Teachers

Course Content

This online course will offer a range of practical ideas for working with ESOL Literacies learners from very basic literacy learners to low-level ESOL learners with literacy needs.

It will explore ways of developing activities for teaching the skills of Reading, Writing, Spelling, and Numeracy, including an exploration of appropriate diagnostic testing materials.

The activities in the course will be adaptable for face-to-face and online teaching. There will be opportunities for collaboration with co-learners and an introduction to a variety of ESOL literacies resources.
