Access to Agriculture & Estates
An access level programme further developing the range of skills used in Landbased employment, specifically Agriculture and Estate Skills. The course is extremely practical and hands-on and may include visits to local employers. PPE will be provided through student bursary allowance where applicable.
There are no formal entry requirements – all applicants will be interviewed to assess suitability and discuss expectations. Completion of Access to Landbased Industries – Part 1 would be of advantage.
Method of Assessment
Continually assessed practical work and a small number of written assessments.
The aim of preparing the student to progress to higher level programmes such as Introduction to Horticulture or Introduction to Estate Skills.
