Course Content

Technology affects the way we live, socialise and play. Computing and IT skills are essential in today's workplace. This Certificate course will give you a starting point for a wide variety of computing-related careers. It will help you understand the fundamental principles, concepts and techniques used in Computing and IT including Software Development, Games Development, Computer Science, Networking, Cyber Resilience and Security and Web Development. Delivery is on a full-time basis to include lectures, practical tutorials and self-study sessions.

Entry Requirements

All applicants will be invited to a two-stage process to assess suitability for the course. Stage 1 - Diagnostic Test: Stage 2 - Written Piece & Interview. All applicants may also be asked to provide a reference.

Method of Assessment

Continuous assessments throughout course and end of year project.

Future Prospects

This course offers progression onto our HN courses in Software Development, Digital Design & Web Development, Cyber Security, Games Development, Networking & Computer Science. Eventual progression from HN to University.
