English Language (ESOL) - Evening Class
Course Content
With a strong focus on interactive communication at all levels, our part-time ESOL classes will help learners improve their English language skills for living, studying or working in the UK, or in an international setting. The course will focus on developing reading, writing, listening and speaking skills, as well as grammar, pronunciation and vocabulary. Levels: A1 (Elementary), A2 (Pre-Intermediate), B1 (Intermediate), B2 (Upper-Intermediate), C1 (Advanced) & IELTS. Students at B2 and C1 Levels work towards Cambridge B2 First (FCE) and C1 Advanced (CAE).

Entry Requirements
Applicants must be ready to study at Elementary level or above. Applicants will attend a group information session and will be tested at interview to determine their English language level. Applicants can apply for either Semester 1 (16 weeks) or the full 32 weeks. Minimum age: normally 18, but students over 16 may be accepted if they are staying with family or a legal guardian.
Method of Assessment
Regular progress testing throughout and depending on level, learners may also undertake Cambridge exams or IELTS.
Future Prospects
On successful completion and dependent on the level achieved, learners can progress to university, other college courses or benefit from enhanced work prospects.
