Access to Animal Care (Part 2)
This continues the foundations laid down in Access to Animal Care Part 1 including personal development as well as employment skills within an animal care setting.
Applicants are required to have an interest in the care and handling of animals and be able to demonstrate the ability to work at SCQF level 3/4 (reading, writing & numeracy). Applications are welcome from learners who have previously studied Access to Animal Care Part 1 as well as new applicants.
Method of Assessment
This course is very practical and is assessed through carrying out practical tasks. The theory element of the course is assessed throughout the year.
This course sets a foundation for further study. Successful learners may wish to apply to progress onto the Introduction to Animal Care course.
