Course Content

Opportunity to receive a certificate provided by NES Scotland for Prevention and Control of Infection. An opportunity to recognise and diffuse aggressive situations and approaches to provide care and support to those affected by aggression. Introduction of Basic First Aid, where individuals will become competent in carrying out CPR and recovery position.

Entry Requirements

An interest in working in a care setting or currently working in a care setting.

Method of Assessment

Online assessment/exam and practical assessment.
