Living alongside Covid19
This short online course is designed to develop your knowledge and understanding of the causes of infection, the ways in which infection enters the body, the spread of infection and the ways in which the body fights infection. This course provides you with knowledge of different pathogens such as bacteria and viruses including common childhood illnesses, those related to care settings and those within the food industry/hospitality. This is complemented with the knowledge and understanding surrounding antiseptic, sterilisation, disinfection procedures and disposal of infected material which are invaluable for the prevention of infections.
Learners will require digital technology to complete this online training.
