Course Content

This qualification has been designed to give learners the knowledge and skills required to work safely on heavy electric/hybrid vehicles whilst carrying out operational and repair activities including replacing components. This may include vehicles that may have or had damage to their high energy/electrical system.


It includes two mandatory units:

  • Preparing Heavy Electric/Hybrid Vehicles for Repair
  • Heavy Electric/Hybrid Vehicle System Repair and Replacement


Equipment provided: electric vehicle, Lucas Nuelle simulator.

Entry Requirements

Qualified Vehicle Technician to Level 3 and Level 2 EV.
