CKR1 Gas Cooking Appliances
Course Content
The course tests the gas safety competencies of a participant by undertaking a review of their understanding of the practical and theoretical aspects of working with gas cooking appliances.
Areas of study include:
- Installation and maintenance of gas cookers and hobs
- Permitted installation location for appliance
- Ventilation requirements
- Commissioning of cookers
- Indentifying unsafe situations

Method of Assessment
Following the course, participants will complete a BPEC written open book assessment and practical assessment.
