CIH Level 4 Certificate In Housing
Course Content
A one-year vocational qualification is comparable to the first year of study of an undergraduate programme. This course explores areas of housing policy, law, finance and professional practice. There are four mandatory units: financing for housing; housing law; housing policy; and professional practice skills for housing. Learners then choose a further two units from the following list of options: customer care; equality and diversity in housing; housing management services; housing need, demand and supply; managing people & change and delivering housing support services for health and well-being.
Entry Requirements
This course is suitable for applicants who have completed one of the following: CIH Level 3 Certificate in Housing Practice or CIH Level 3 Diploma in Housing, or equivalent. A background in housing is essential but candidates with relevant experience of housing and housing-related sectors will be considered.
Method of Assessment
Learners have access to online course materials and are assigned a college tutor who will provide on-going support throughout their studies.
Future Prospects
This course enables learners to progress to the CIH Level 5 Diploma in Housing which on successful completion leads to CIH Chartered Membership status.
