BPEC Unvented Hot Water Cylinders
Course Content
The aim of this course is to train candidates in the installation and safety requirements of unvented hot water systems. Areas of study include: establishing an understanding of Building Standards requirements; identifying typical faults associated with the installation or maintenance of unvented cylinders; developing an understanding of the requirements of the Building Standards detailing conservation, service and maintenance of hot water and central heating systems.
Method of Assessment
Following the course, candidates will complete a BPEC written open-book assessment and practical assessment.
