AAT Advanced Diploma in Accounting
This course provides a professional qualification to help gain employment or progress to further professional study. It covers the following areas of study: advanced bookkeeping; preparation of sole trader and partnership accounts; costing; indirect tax; professional ethics and spreadsheet software. The course is delivered by way of online material or taught classes via text books. (Registration with AAT professional body is required at the start of the course; examination fees and text books are not included in the course fees.) Text books will be ordered by the college and charged to the student accordingly.
Relevant work experience and/or relevant qualifications. Exemptions may be granted from part/all of AAT Advanced Diploma in Accounting depending on accountancy qualifications held. Applicants will be interviewed either in person or by telephone before a formal place would be offered.
Method of Assessment
Assessed by AAT using computer-based assessments. On successful completion, learners will be awarded by the Association of Accounting Technicians.
On successful completion, progression to AAT Professional Diploma in Accounting. AAT offers a range of benefits for student members including study support, career advice to help find the perfect job.
