BA (Hons) Dance (Completion Award)

Course Content

This course aims to provide learners with advanced knowledge within key modules including: technique, performance and academic studies. It includes seminar presentations, portfolio building, facilitation, unique opportunities to take choreographic work to staged productions and take part in specialist workshops led by professional dance artists. Offering an environment that is challenging, creative and supportive, learners are encouraged to take responsibility for their own work, self-manage, develop autonomy and prepare for the profession.

Entry Requirements

Learners who have achieved HND Contemporary Dance or equivalent may progress onto this programme upon successful completion of a practical audition and interview.

Method of Assessment

On-going continuous coursework involving a range of practical performances as well as academic submissions.

Future Prospects

Entry into the dance industry as a performer, choreographer, arts facilitator, progression onto post graduate and Masters level courses.
