Advanced Certificate in Retail, Marketing and Business
An integral part of this programme is the design, creation and operation of our pop-up shop (Tempus). Learners gain invaluable business and work experience by creating the store design, selecting, buying and re-ordering products and creating and implementing a marketing plan. Subjects include: Visual Merchandising; Digital Marketing; Website Design and Application; Business Planning. Learners will develop the skills and qualities required for a business start-up or a career within the retail, fashion or marketing industries.
A minimum of four National 5 qualifications. Consideration will also be given to applicants with other relevant qualifications or life/work experience. Applicants should have a desire to work towards entry into HNC level or a career within the Retail, Events and Marketing industry.
Method of Assessment
There will be no end of course test but continual assessment throughout the year.
Further study at HNC level including Retail, Fashion Business; Events and Business. May also lead to employment in these areas.
