Advising and Supporting Future Recruitment

Our employability team is here to support inclusive and sustainable economic growth for the region.

We run a range of activities and programmes, including:

  • Supporting businesses to recruit the right people, with the right skills at the right time for a range of employment opportunities within the region whether they be full and/or part-time
  • Supporting any company of any size – public, private, third sector across a full range of occupational sectors
  • Providing a free service – screening process can be undertaken
  • Supporting our full-time learners in starting their professional career pathways, for example individuals who would like to follow an Apprenticeship route and unemployed customers after a period of upskilling

How do we do this?
We do this in a range of ways including sector-based work academies offered to upskill unemployed customers – e.g. Health Care Academy, Get into Hospitality, Get into Electrical, Get into Retail. We also deliver bespoke academies for companies looking to recruit on scale e.g. Operator Academy with Interplex in Arbroath and Tesco Movement into Work.

We work in partnership with other organisations to deliver our employability activities including the DWP in Dundee and Angus, our main referring partner, Skills Development Scotland, the Prince’s Trust and many others.

Get in touch if you think you would benefit from the support we can offer.
