MA Hospitality Supervision & Leadership SCQF Level 7
Entry requirements

Candidate must be employed in a suitable post within the hospitality sector.

Course content

Over 12 months candidates will develop supervisory skills within the hospitality industry, leading a team to improve customer service and supervising food and drink service.

There are 8 units including: - Provide Leadership for your Team - Develop Productive Working Relationships with Colleagues - Contribute to the Control of Resources - Maintain the Health, Hygiene, Safety and security of the    Working Environment

Qualifications achieved

Each apprentice will be working towards a MA in Hospitality Supervision &
Leadership SCQF level 7 (GM2C 23) , which will be awarded following
successful completion of all 8 units.

Core skills and Enhancements

Each apprentice is required to achieve the following core skills:

• Communication SCQF 6
• Working with Others SCQF 6
• Problem Solving SCQF 6
• Information Communication Technology SCQF 5
• Numeracy SCQF 5

Candidates are to undertake an enhancement in Health and Safety at Work Certificate & Scottish Licensing Certificate for Personal License Holders in Licensed Premises where appropriate. 


The programme will take 12 months to complete. Work based assessors
will review every 12 weeks throughout the duration of the programme.
