Horticulture MA Level 2
Entry requirements

Candidates will be employed in the horticulture or landscape gardening industry at craft level. The MA would also be suitable for those who wish to progress their career and who may have a lot of experience and a genuine interest in developing this qualification.

Qualifications achieved
Each apprentice is required to achieve the following qualification: Level 2 Parks, Gardens and Green space – GH7D 22
The apprentice must achieve Emergency First Aid (one day course) approved by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE).
One other accredited, legislative and nationally recognised occupational course which is relevant to the industry. Where a certificate has an expiry date, it must be current at the time of completion of the Modern Apprenticeship.
The programme should take 18 months to complete. Candidates will be work-based and are reviewed by an assessor every 10-13 weeks throughout the duration of the programme. Candidates will attend College once a week on a day-release basis.
