Pathway Apprenticeships

If you've recently left school, are unemployed and not receiving benefits, a Pathway Apprenticeship could help you to prepare for the world of work.

Pathway Apprenticeships are new short training programmes for school leavers aged 18 or under.

They combine qualifications and real work experience to develop the skills and experience that employers are looking for to get you on the right path for the next steps in your career or learning journey. And during the training you will be paid a £100 weekly training allowance!

We are offering Pathway Apprenticeships in industry areas with strong future employment prospects:

  • Business Skills (16 weeks programme)
  • Childcare (16 weeks programme)
  • Construction - Bricklaying (20 weeks programme)
  • Construction - Roofing and Slating (20 weeks programme)
  • Digital Software and Hardware (16 weeks programme)
  • Engineering (26 weeks programme)

As well as working towards an industry-recognised qualification, during the programme we will support you to build your confidence and develop key skills like communication, team-working and personal development.

We will also give you advice and guidance on topics such as application forms, CVs and interview and presentation skills to help you get a job.

Successfully completing a Pathway Apprenticeship can lead to employment; further study or on to a Modern Apprenticeship.

Our Pathway Apprenticeships start on 8 February 2021.
