Dundee and Angus College is pleased to publish its key student performance indicators for academic year 2015-2016.
As the name suggests, this information is an important indicator of the performance of our students and courses over the year and is important data for the College in assessing, reviewing, and improving the quality of the educational services we provide.
The indicators highlight the performance of the student cohort throughout the whole year, broken down by the duration of course (in terms of hours studied) and the level of course (Further Education/Higher Education).
The Scottish Funding Council publishes this data using the following format:
These figures represent the following measures:
Early Withdrawal - The percentage of students leaving their course before 25% of the course has been completed
Further Withdrawal - The percentage of students leaving before the end of their course
Completed: Successful - The percentage of students that have completed their course, and achieved the qualification/award
Completed: Partial Success - The percentage of students that have completed their course, but have not achieved all of the units required for their qualification/award
Full details on PI collection and calculation arrangements are available online (PDF).
This is the third year in succession that the College has been able to publish very strong performance outcomes, confirming that the performance of students at Dundee and Angus College is significantly above the national average in respect of student success and (without being complacent) present a positive picture of the quality of service offered by the College.
